On the famed Italian Riviera del Levante, Casa Sant’Anna is delightful apartment right on the beachfront. Sestri Levante is located on the main Genoa to Rome railway line and offers a vast range of facilities for a wonderful seaside holiday. Here you can enjoy one of the highlights of the Riviera, the beautiful Baia delle Favole (the Bay of Fables) and the Baia del Silenzio (the Bay of Silence), one on each side of the Sestri peninsula. In the hinterland are imposing mountains and many villages offering good food, trekking, horseback riding etc.
 
It is a short drive or train ride from here to the Cinque Terre and other splendid seaside villages such as Portovenere and Lerici near La Spezia. From this location guests can easily reach the beautiful villages of Portofino and Santa Margherita by boat, train or car. The historic city port of Genoa, one of the four Italian medieval maritime republics, is just under an hour by car or train.
 
For the sun worshippers and seaside lovers, immediately opposite the apartment are several bathing establishments. The town itself abounds with restaurants, cafes and nightlife. The port is very beautiful and still retains the fascination of a fishing village. Amenities available locally include all water sports, tennis, horse riding and wonderful marked hiking trails. There is an 18-hole (par 70) golf course in Rapallo, just 15 minutes away, open daily all year round.
 
There is no view of the sea, as the apartment is at the rear of the three-storey building, thus very peaceful even at the busiest of times. But just across the road you have a splendid view of the Gulf of Tigullio: to the left is the peninsula of Sestri Levante and the Castle on the point, five minutes walk along the seaside promenade. To the right is the pensinsula of Portofino. The train station is just a few minutes away.
 
Recently restored to a high standard by an architect, this beautiful apartment (100 sqmt) has a large garden and is comprised of a queen size bedroom, large living area divided into three sections: kitchen, living room with a sofa bed (queen size) and dining room. The bathroom has a shower and designer accessories. Walls are hand sponged and the dining area features a large tromp l’oeil depicting a marine scene. All furniture has been made to measure in cherry wood. Amenities include TV, telephone, electric oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and all basic kitchen supplies, are provided. In the garden is a large sun awning, wood fired oven and garden furniture for outdoor dining. The apartment is secured with window grilles. There is no washing machine but laundry service can be arranged
