DETAILS:
From this beautifully located house the views extend
over the sea and the famed Amalfi coastline to the towns
of Minori and Maiori below and the cozy hamlet of
Torello on a hillside below Ravello. Situated on the
first floor of larger residence, Casa dei Limoni is a few
meters below the Villa Rufolo, one of the great
landmarks of Ravello. The accommodation has not been
specifically furnished for holiday use and is
essentially a comfortable home with typical local decor.
About 200 meters away is a friendly bar, while shops and
restaurants in and around the central piazza are a short
drive or walk away. The house has central heating and
there is an open fireplace in the sitting room welcoming
early and late season visitors.
Entry into the hallway and then to the left is a large,
furnished fully-equipped kitchen with door to the
entrance terrace. Also in this section is one
twin-bedded room with sky-light and air conditioning, 2
bathrooms ( one with bathtub , the other with shower
cubicle and washing machine ).
To the right of the hallway is a queen size bedroom and
a dining/sitting room with attractive cherry-wood
furnishings and a fireplace. Both rooms enjoy
spectacular views to the sea, with French doors opening
onto the terrace furnished with sun lounges, table and
chairs, ideal for dining out while enjoying the stunning
views.
From road there are 20 steps up to the entrance to the
apartment. Central heating,TV, fridge/freezer, cooker,
oven, washing machine, pay phone.
DISTANCES:
The house is one kilometer from the main square, Piazza
Vescovado or 15 minutes by foot descending a steep
staircase. Amalfi and the beaches are just a bus-ride
away (20 min), The blue SITA buses leave every hour at
the entrance to the tunnel outside the Garden Hotel.
Amalfi 5 Km , Minori 6 Km, Positano 22 Km , Salerno 29
Km, Sorrento 39 Km From Amalfi, boats and hydrofoils ply
between Positano, Sorrento, Capri, Salerno, Napoli and
Ischia, with a reduced service in winter months. Naples
airport 65 Km, Rome airport 320 Km. Train station in
Salerno 29 Km
