DETAILS:
Between Radda in Chianti and Montevarchi is an ancient
farmhouse, parts of which date back to the 14th century,
surrounded by 38 hectares of olive trees and woods. The
owners produce high-quality olive oil and live on the
property.
The interiors are charming and furnishings are mainly
country antiques. There are numerous reference books for
guests on the local towns, art, food, wines, birds and
history. Guests will enjoy a delightful outdoor area with
pergola, tbale and chairs for outdoor dinig and exceptional
panorama to the surrounding hills.
The property has a 15 x 5.5 metre pool, very privately
set at a short walk from the house and the Barn,
surrounded by olives with views to the Chianti hills.
The English-speaking owners share the pool with guests
which is operative from mid-May through September.
An unpaved sometimes steep road (1.5 km) leads to the
farmhouse and though well-maintained it could appear
challenging to city drivers. Two friendly dogs live on
the property. This is a working olive production farm,
with occasional tractor noise and work in progress.

stove and large glass doors opening to the courtyard. Up
