The Poggio wine-growing estate extends over about 30 hectares on the sweet slopes of the Pisan hills sloping towards the Tyrrhenian coast. The vineyard is cultivated using organic methods and it embodies a major landmark for several research projects aimed at saving and integrating the mankind-plant-animal balance.
A villa dating back to the nineteenth century is located in the centre of the estate on a hill (the “poggio”) with two farmhouses, all of which comprise the farm and centre of hospitality where guests can spend holidays surrounded by one of the most important vineyards of the area.
The accommodation is in three buildings: the main villa and two guest houses. The apartments have been built according to the Tuscan style but they have been furnished under the supervision of the best designers, who have chosen exclusive furniture, with great attention to detail, creating harmony between colours and fabrics.

You will enjoy walks along the hills, visiting ancient villages and naturalistic oases. You can personalize your stay requesting cooking class, private chef, wine tasting and yoga sessions. Piergiorgio, Michela and Chiara continuously update a diary with exclusive historical, cultural, naturalistic itineraries and gourmet food and wine tours can be made by several means (minibus service, trekking, mountain-bike riding, horse riding) according to the season and the events on the calendar.
Pisa International airport “Galileo Galilei”, one of the biggest of central Italy, is 20 kms far and offers all the necessary services for passengers. The magnificent historical cities of Tuscany are all reachable in less than 1 hour renting a car at the airport.

Piazzetta: Sleeps 2+1; 57 sq mt
Apartment located on the ground floor of the main villa, comprised of a living-dining room with kitchen unit, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 queensize bedroom and a single sofabed.
Il Colle: Sleeps 3; 65 sq mt + gallery 16 sq mt
On the first floor of the main villa, with entry on the side of the building comprised of a large open-plan living-dining-kitchen room, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 queensize bedroom, one single bed on the mezzanine gallery. Air-conditioning in all rooms.
Le Vigne
Independent country house on two floors with two connecting apartments:
Vigna Bassa: Sleeps 4: Ground floor apartment of 120 sq mt + private terrace 58 sq mt.
Comprised of a large living room with fireplace, kitchen-dining room with access to the terrace, 1 walk through twin bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 queensize bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.
Vigna Alta: Sleeps 2+2: Upper floor apartment of 63 sq mt + private terrace 18 sq mt.
Comprised of kitchenette and living room with double sofabed, bathroom with Jacuzzi hydromassage shower, 1 queensize bedroom. This apartment also has independent access from an external staircase and the living-dining-kitchen area opens to a terrace. Air conditioning in upper floor bedroom.
With the connecting sound-proof door open, both apartments can be booked together to sleep up to a total of 6 + 2 people.
Gli Ulivi: Sleeps 4; 65 sq mt + gallery 16 sq mt
Independent house of 90 sq mt + attic 30 sq mt and private loggia
Ground floor: A beautiful large living room with fireplace, eat-in kitchen whichopens to the loggia offering lovely views over the vineyards and hills beyond. bedroom with bunk beds

The furnishings in all apartments are delightful and of the highest standard. Chinaware and glass ware are of excellent quality. All linen is personalised with the logo of the property. Guests will be delighted with the welcome basket.
DISTANCES: Pisa International airport is 20 km away. Delta Airlines has direct flights from New York into Pisa three times a week in low season and five times a week in high season. Ryanair flies into Pisa from several UK airports. Cities such as Lucca, Florence, Siena are all within easy reach of a day trip.
Beaches are easily reached on excellent roads.
