DETAILS:
On the ancient estate of Il Castagno, with its historic
villa and farmlands, are some newly restored houses set
privately from each other. There are numerous sizes and
all apartments have two or more bathrooms. This property
is ideal for a very large group with numerous solutions
if some of the apartments are rented together or in
conjunction with Villa Il Castagno (see
separate description). The furnishings
are beautiful and the ambience is most charming. Each
house has its own outdoor garden area. Set in a
panoramic position removed from the apartments, the
swimming pool is splendid. There is a laundry for
communal use and a very nice restaurant-coffee bar just
across the road which will also cater and deliver
in-house meals.
Other services include delivery of fresh bread and milk
each day (except Sunday), Italian language courses for
small groups (min 4 people), trekking with guide,
tennis, golf and riding 8 km away.
The apartments are as follows:
Quercia – Sleeps 8 – 130 sq mts. Apartment set on
2 levels. On the ground floor there is a spacious living
room and a kitchen (cooker, oven, fridge and
dishwasher), 3 twins or doubles, one double with a queen
size bed and 4 bathrooms with shower. Large private
garden.
Cipresso – Sleeps 8 - 130 sq mts. Apartment set
on two levels occupying one half of an independent
building with La Quercia. On the ground floor there is a
spacious living room and a kitchen (cooker, oven, fridge
and dishwasher), 3 twins or doubles, one double with a
queen size bed and 4 bathrooms with shower. Large
private garden.
La Scuola (Sleeps 6 +2) - 120 sq mts. It consists
of large living/dining room with kitchen corner (cooker,
oven, fridge and dishwasher), three double bedded rooms
and three bathroom with shower. Two single sofa beds are
available in the living room. Large private terrace.
Satellite TV.
La Guardia (sleeps 5+1 ) - 85 sq mts. It is on
the ground floor. It consists of a living/dining room
with fire-place and a kitchen corner (cooker, oven,
fridge and dishwasher), two twins or double bedrooms,
one single bedroom, 2 bathrooms with shower. There is
also satellite TV and a private garden at guests
disposal. A single sofa bed is available in the living
room.
Castagnolo – Sleeps 8 – 157 sq mts. Located at
the rear of Villa IL Castagno, a the ground floor
apartment consisting of living/dining room with kitchen
corner (cooker, oven, fridge and dishwasher), three twin
bedded rooms, one double bedded room and three bathrooms
with shower and private terrace. Satellite TV.
Castagnetta – Sleeps 4+2– 110 sq mts. Comprised
of living/dining room with fire place and a kitchen
corner (cooker, oven, fridge and dishwasher), two double
or twin bedded rooms and two bathrooms with shower.
Ground floor and private garden. Two single sofa beds
are available in the living room. Satellite TV.
Arco – Sleeps 4+2 – 65 sq mts. Ground floor with
private garden. It has a living room with kitchen corner
(cooker, oven, fridge and dishwasher), two double or
twin bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with shower. A double sofa
bed (queen sixe) is available in the living room.
Satellite TV is also available.
Poggio – Sleeps 4+2 – 65 sq mts. Ground floor
with private terrace, a living room with kitchen corner
(cooker, oven, fridge and dishwasher), two double or
twin bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with shower. A double sofa
bed (queen size) is available in the living room.
Satellite TV is also available.
Laghetto – Sleeps 4+2 – 65 sq mts. Set on 2
levels with private terrace. It has a living room with
kitchen corner (cooker, oven, fridge and dishwasher),
two double or twin bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with shower.
A double sofa bed (queen size) is available in the
living room. Satellite TV is also available.
La Valle – Sleeps 3+1 – 55 sq mts. Ground floor
with private balcony. It has a living room with kitchen
corner (cooker, oven, fridge and dishwasher), one double
or twin bedroom, one single bedroom and 2 bathrooms with
shower. A double sofa bed (matrimonial) is available in
the living room. Satellite TV is also available.
Forno – Sleeps 2+1 – 50 sq mts. Ground floor with
private terrace. It has a living room with kitchen
corner (cooker, oven and fridge), one double or twin
bedroom and 1 bathroom with shower. A double sofa bed
(1.60 mt) is available in the living room. Satellite TV
is also available.
Guardiola – Sleeps 2+1 – 45 sq mts. Ground floor
with private terrace. It has a living room with kitchen
corner (cooker, oven and fridge), one double bedroom and
1 bathroom with shower. A single sofa bed is available
in the living room. Satellite TV is also available.
Caccia – Sleeps 4+2 – 120 sq mts. Ground floor
with private covered loggia with view. It consists of a
living/dining room with fireplace, kitchen with
fireplace (oven, fridge/freezer, cooker and dishwasher),
two double/twin bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower.
Double sofa bed available (1.60 m) in the living room.

Coppo – Sleeps 2+1 – 43 sq mts. Ground floor with
private space outside furnished with table and chairs
for dining out. It consists of a living/dining room with
fireplace and kitchen corner (oven, fridge, cooker), one
double bedroom (queen size bed) and a shower bathroom.
