Built into a hillside, this magnificent old house in the Val d'Ambra overlooks the most incredibly extensive panorama of luxuriant woods and olive-groves on the edge of the Chianti area.
Two separate houses have been recently restored, both of which can be rented by clients, separately only.
The lovely barn, known as 'La Cascina', (80 m2 - sleeps 2) is about 100 m from the main house, surrounded by pines and cypresses.
It comprises a fully equipped kitchen which opens onto a pergola, a living room, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a terrace with garden furniture. Clients in 'La Cascina' would use the owners pool (4 x 12 m - 1.40/1.60 m deep) about 150m away . BBQ and private car parking at guests' disposal.
This property not only offers the peace and tranquillity of a relaxing holiday in the country, but is a wonderful base for excursions to the main towns of Tuscany such as Florence, Siena (35km), Arezzo, which is only 20 km away, as well as the enchanting smaller hill towns like Civitella and Pergine Valdarno.
Not far from the property you will find good restaurants (the nearest is less than a mile away), shops and a chemist (2.5 km).
