Villa Magnolia, Lake Maggiore
Located uphill Stresa in the center of a nice small village, Brovello, overlooking the Lake, this recently restored villa dates from 1400s and is related to the Visconti castle located nearby. The owners have restored their home with great care leaving the details of the past in place. Each apartment has an independent entrance from the patio. The additional apartment on the ground floor is for the owner who stays on weekends throughout the year and weekdays in August.
Magnolia – Sleeps 4 – set on two floors
Ground floor: Entrance from the patio, large sitting room with fireplace and table for 8, kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher washing machine, electric American drip coffee machine) access to the patio.
First floor: master bedroom with double bed, twin bedroom, large modern bathroom (shower).
If connected with Glicine can accommodate 5 people.
Glicine – Sleeps 1
First floor: With direct access to the large terrace, it consists of a small room with sofabed, a large modern bathroom (tub). No kitchen. It can be connected with unit 1 and unit 3
Azalea – Sleeps 2 + 2
First floor: entrance from the terrace, living room with sofabed, three steps lead to the large eat-in kitchen, double bedroom with bathroom (shower)
If connected with Glicine can accommodate 5 people
Ortensia – Sleeps 2
One double bedroom with small bathroom
Can be connected to Camelia
Camelia – Sleeps 4
Entrance, large bathroom with shower, living room, three steps lead to a double bedroom, twin bedroom in the mansard, fully equipped kitchen

Villa Magnolia is nicely furnished and very cared for. Each apartment has direct access to the upper terrace. Equipment includes refrigerator, telephone, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker and microwave. Please note all the apartments share the large patio upstairs.
From the parking level there are about 15 steps to reach the garden. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are located upstairs therefore the property is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties.
The villa is very well equipped and is just a few meters from grocery shops, cafes and restaurants in the village center, though it faces the lake and thus offers a peaceful stay
Activities
In the village you can find all kind of shops and restaurants and there is also the possibility to order and take out delicious meals at the nearby Restaurant, while in Lesa (4 km downhill) there is a sports club with 3 tennis courts and Olympic pool (10 min. walk) which guests may use for a daily or weekly rate. The beach is at 4 km from the villa. There are also 2 golf courses within 10 min. by car and 7 more within 45 min. The ferry to the other beautiful lake resort towns and islands docks at Belgirate just a 10 min drive. Stresa is at a 10 min drive too. Pallanza is 15 km north, Arona 6 km south – motorway exit at 4 km.
